Hey Everybody,

The reason im not posting in the classifieds, before i sell it, i want to know if its worth it to sell it, and what the bundle is actually worth right now?

The reason im leaning towards selling is, i just upgraded to the Xbox 1, and im considering selling it to get a kinect for the Xbox 1 for my little 1 (As you can see by the some of the kids games I've accumulated)

This is what it includes:

1 (Black) Xbox Console (360) Less than 1 year old with warranty and registered on the Xbox site. (In the box)
2 (Black) Xbox 360 controllers, 1 came with the Xbox, the other is 4 Months old.
1 Kinect for the 360 4 Months old in the box.
+- 20 Games (Disk's): (Below are the games i can think of off hand - there is a couple more)

  • Call of Duty Ghosts
  • Call of Duty 2
  • Gears of War 1
  • Gears of War 2
  • Gears of War 3
  • Gears of War Judgement
  • Need for Speed Carbon (Special edition)
  • Need for Speed Pro Streets
  • Need for Speed Most Wanted
  • Fifa Street 2
  • Dance Revolution 3 (Kinect)
  • Kinect Adventures
  • Battlefield 3
  • Ghost Recon Future Soldier
  • Ghost Recon Advanced Warfare 2
  • Forza 5

Then on the Hard drive (500gb), there's +- 5 Games downloaded which include:

  • Kinectimals (some kid's Kinect game with animals)
  • Sesame Street (another Kids kinect game)
  • Dance Revolution 1
  • Dance Revolution 2
  • Dance Central 1
  • Dance Central 2

So the reason for the post is, a guy at work is offering R2500 for everything, but i dont feel like that's worth it for everything, after going through all the games I've accumulated over time, im actually re considering selling everything.

So, looking at this, is R2500 reasonable?

Thats what i thought, that's what i was considering asking for everything. I mean, the console is still fairly new, and in a very good condition.

Even though its 2nd hand it's very well looked after and i rarely play it during the week also Bt Games is selling a 4gb Console with kinect and 4 games for R3300.

I think with Xbox 360's you have to decide if you really want to sell it or not, and if you want to, be prepared to either let it go for a lot less than it's worth to you, or be prepared to have it laying around for a long time while you find a buyer who is prepared to pay your pricce.

I had an Xbox 360 with a couple of games that I let go a few months ago. It was taking up space, I had a PC, and I wanted to blow the money on crockery and cutlery :P And a massive micro SD for my phone.

I found new prices for all the games and hardware, halved it, and put up adverts (I think I started at R3800 - which I thought was rather generous). I managed to sell it all for R1900, separately.

I see what you mean. Thing is, i wasn't even planning on selling it. I just now thought (something from reading your response sparked it) of setting it up in my daughters room for when she gets a bit bigger, since the Kinect was mainly for her (and her mother on occasion for the dancing games)

The only reason i was "considering" it was because the guy asked if i'd like to maybe sell it to him since I've now got the Xbox one.

Thanks for the replies guys, this thread actually made me realize i actually dont want to sell my Xbox.
