What's App problem

Hey Guys

I recently got my new Torch and installed whats app, but every time i try to sign up with my new number it says "Error sending SMS"
How can this be fixed? Has anybody else experienced this problem?

I also tried downloading whats app both ways through app store and OTA but nothing seems to work.
I have BIS and everything is set up properly

Ive never had any problems and it sends that sms over the internet not your phones gsm, as long as there is an active network connection it will send.
Have you tried wifi yet?
