What's better?

So I installed my 4GB ram last night and decided to try out a 6GB total. All I can is WOW!
Photoshop is using about 85% of the ram so I reckon 6GB is a better bet
 
Yeah 3D work takes the **** out of your machine! Do you have nVidia graphics in your render machine? Have you tried Gelato?
 
Charlie if your want to see an increase in your pc performance for photoshop as well as rendering you should really be running raid 0. It would make everything you do alot faster. You run vista so atleast you won't have to dust off the old stiffy drive :p

As you say the difference between 667 and 800 is hardly noticeable if you ask me.
I have ddr 1066 and run it at ddr 1200 and notice no difference at all :p

Infact i wasted my money buying ddr 1066 because at 1200 i can't notice the gain over my old 800 sticks. I think this whole memory speed thing is a gimmick made to sell memory :). Sure my system is 1% faster than my old ddr 800 but that came at a price of 1.2k, hardly worth it if you ask me.

Do you still have your old 800 sticks? What sticks are they? You wanna part with them?
