The lighting smashed out my whole AV setup. I figure it hit the dish.
Everything went out and then came back on afterwards.
I have a AV reveiver with two HMDI inputs. One I use for DSTV and the other for a blu ray player.
After the hit, my DSTV decoder showed an error "HDCP 15" which I gather is a handshake error. So I figured the decoder broke.
However when I plug the HMDI cable directly into the TV, it works...
So I figured the AV receiver broke. However, blu ray player still works fine via the AV receiver...
