What's for lunch?

Where? Need for my next durbs trip

Saffron in Ballito, I have not been there for ages as the quality dropped but today I walked past there and thought I would give it another chance, maybe it's got new owners or something.
Another nice place is Sawagat but they do north indian style food, the owners are not 'local' indians.
Salt Rock Hotel is another local spot with a nice curry.

In debbin itself there are several options.

Am usually in Umhlanga side anyways, so will have a look next time

Brittania and Goundens are too inconsistent for me to bother.

If you're going to be in Umhlanga try Ilala Curries on Umhlanga Rocks Drive, very close to Gateway. There's also Danny's at Blue Lagoon (also a bit inconsistent) and Hollywood Bets near Argyle Road, but I'd suggest eating there as opposed to getting a takeaway.

Street food. Baja or however who spell it.

Bad pic of spicy cauli tacos at El Burro.
Their stuffed smoked chilli starters are the best stuffed chilli dish ever. Beats everyone else & their battered poppers.

Veg sausages, kimchi & cheese with fried jerusalem artichoke & radish.

Colleague says those and samoosas are to die for.
Where can get some in Jhb area?

Work friend only eats home made so doesn't know.

Not sure. Had some freshly hot ones off the vendor here in Mauritius :D So good. Back in JHB soon

that looks great...how were the veg sausages? Look like Fry's soya jobbies.
They're nice.
Yeah the Fry's braai-style sausages.
Nice sliced on pizza, nachos etc. for some variety. I've never bought the mince & stuff - doesn't really appeal. Just feel like a sausage every now & then :).

The fry's hotdogs and sausages are great. Just fry in a pan with some oil and cinnamon sticks and maybe some dried chilies for a kick.
