Hahaha we were going to make some chilli sauce with habaneros but the blender was broken

If not I will just explain, basically for the fried coleslaw you, fry an onion with lots of butter, add the coleslaw fry that for a bit, add 2 medium potato's add water, cook till soft, drain water, fry again add some cheese, black pepper salt.Sour beans, Take whole green beans with edges cut off, boil with an onion cut in rings till just before being soft but cooked, drain water, add some garlic, black pepper and a little salt, add a teaspoon of vinegar set aside for at least an hour.

The savory cheescake dish was from Foliage in Franschhoek. One of my favorite restaurants - always interesting food, a visible kitchen, great service, a chef that's really interesting to talk to etc. Sister took her 2y/o kid with and they made so much effort to put something together for him, including a snowman-shaped pile of mashed potatoes & carrot nose.

Cold smoke as opposed to hot. Don't really need a dedicated smoker for it.
