Yay - found something I've never eaten before.
Fresh jackfruit.
Taste reminds me of oldschool candy / sherbet. Only the little yellow parts are edible, the rest is white fibrous stuff, seeds and a load of super sticky white gum.

Tastes delicious though. Unless it's ripe in which case it stinks like hell.

Pity he wasted the white part. It curries and pickles really well.
