What's for lunch?

You've got pretty square pans for making bread. My home-made loaves were generally a lot rounder.
Ive been eyeing this bad boy out for a few years now
Always reading the reviews
Used it twice so far and loving it
The loaves are 900g which is 200g more than store bread

Ah, so it's a bread maker.

Those are cool. My mom had one almost like that when I was in high school. Bread was awesomely tasty, and yeah, slices were quite large.

After a couple of years though, something failed inside it, something tiny like a seal or a rubber or something, and it turned out nearly impossible to get a replacement so the entire thing ended up being binned. We were so put off by the lack of spare part availability that we never replaced it.

Granted this was nearly 20 years ago now, so I'm not sure if the situation has changed.

Awesome
As I arrived home yesterday after work the bread machine had just finished that second.
Entire home smelled like a bakery
Pure heaven
I used my old style Pineware bread slicer and set it to maximum girth
I got 8 slices out of the 900g loaf
Lekker fat door stops
1 sandwich is all you need

If you don't make bread because your bread maker is broken - for me bread makers are a redundant item. Mixing your own dough is super easy as is baking it.

I was a teenager at the time - anything meaning extra effort was off the cards.

I took up the whole sourdough craze during the lockdown and I rather enjoyed it. But then I moved to a different house with no oven and it became hard to keep it going.

Same sarmy as yesterday but I was too hungry to go put it in the sandwich press
Just ate it now as is
I am bloated
But Ive had enough bread now this week.
Gonna pack the Mellerware Ma Baker away in the cupboard when I get home
