A braai at a colleague's house.
Braaivleis, a salad (with toasted sunflower seeds ... damn, it tastes good), a warm bacon, mushroom and potato dish.
Red velvet cake with coffee as dessert.

On Saturday we braaied at a friend's house.
We had flame grilled steaks with blue cheese and bacon sauce, chips, sweet chilli and garlic bread, mushrooms in a garlic butter sauce and a nice Greek salad.
For dessert we had black forest cake.
It was awesome.

It was delicious, and I am not even one for sweet things.
i haven't had black forest cake in ages. well maybe a few months
but while we on cakes, I didn't know there was blue and black velvet cupcakes. had a blue one at Andiccios after dinner on Friday night. I liked it.

I cringe whenever I am offered black forest cake .... ever since my sister "poisoned" me as a little boy with Black Forest tea 1 hour before a 7 hour road trip from Springbok to Cape Town.
