Homemade veg soup with fresh bread.

Boiled potatoes and cauliflower till soft then blended with stock, garlic & spices to create a base. Brown-fried onions and some of the vegetables, then added the liquid base to the pot as well as the rest of the vegetables. Didn't add the lentils. Put a whole squash in to cook which I'll cut up toward the end and put back in the put for a few minutes. Gonna be awesome.

Thai chicken with peppers and sugar snap peas, personal chicken pies and a charcuterie, bruschetta and cheese board from last night's dinner. Would have taken better pics but was a bit sozzled from the beer and wine :o

Chuck some potatoes in the mix there and you've got yourself choucroute garnie, havoc. Looks great...

I got home at 18:00 (after a school sports day out - since 05:30 this morning ... traveling is a bitch), decided what to eat at 19:00 (after I had my sundowner(s)).

Defrosting frozen vegetables was the logical way to go.

And defile a genuine German dish by making it a French-wanna-be-adopting-German-dish-due-to-border-disputes...I think not. :p

Plus Sauerkraut + Kassler is more LCHF & has proven (unexplained) medical benefits anyway. :D

Looks great...
:D Thanks - I rarely cook something worthy of this thread tbh.

oh looking good there picard....did you serve that with rice or something?...looks a hint soupy to be served as is.

After I had my sundowner(s), I didn't give a hoot about any side dishes or serving bases. :D

BTW that soup was the best things about that dish. It had the same texture as my cocktails ... liquidy.

Fair point. Plus I find that a hint of mash powder can fix soupiness without detracting from the dish. Yes thats cheating...I know.
