Homemade veg soup with fresh bread.
Boiled potatoes and cauliflower till soft then blended with stock, garlic & spices to create a base. Brown-fried onions and some of the vegetables, then added the liquid base to the pot as well as the rest of the vegetables. Didn't add the lentils. Put a whole squash in to cook which I'll cut up toward the end and put back in the put for a few minutes. Gonna be awesome.

I thought the beer would at least score some brownie pointsYou win by default, Fanie, on account of the meat...
Simply Asia tonight. Lazy.
My supper tonight.
The sauce is a coconut cream and curry.

And defile a genuine German dish by making it a French-wanna-be-adopting-German-dish-due-to-border-disputes...I think not.Chuck some potatoes in the mix there and you've got yourself choucroute garnie, havoc.
Looks great...

I rarely cook something worthy of this thread tbh.
oh looking good there picard....did you serve that with rice or something?...looks a hint soupy to be served as is.
Fair point. Plus I find that a hint of mash powder can fix soupiness without detracting from the dish. Yes thats cheating...I know. After I had my sundowner(s), I didn't give a hoot about any side dishes or serving bases.
BTW that soup was the best things about that dish. It had the same texture as my cocktails ... liquidy.
