What's for supper?

The men on our staff, ten of us, are going camping this weekend. We do this at least once a year.

Tomorrow evening we are going to braai Angelfish and Saturday, a potjie. All other meals will also be braaied.

A couple of drinks will also be enjoyed.


Go to the Drakensberg/outlying areas. Winter is prety much over but it's still chilly there. Cleanest air I ever smelled. Beautiful views as well.
 
I cooked after a while today. Been eating out at regular joints. No point in posting those everyday.
 
I don't care how well you think you may have eaten tonight ... or the last couple of evenings.

Tonight I ate better.

I had fillet steak fried in a pan to perfection and then I made a dipping sauce with the scrapings, brandy, English mustard and cream.

I can eat that sauce like a soup so good is it.

Been craving a good fillet. Maybe this weekend.
 
Went to swad in melrose arch. Wasn't that hungry, so just had onion pakodas for starters, idli for mains, and an espresso to keep me awake on the long drive back to equestria

Made pork roast on Sunday. Was stacked on top op a layer of onions and covered by a carrot and spice puree. After cooking for three hours I uncovered it and put some apricot jam on which glazed nicely under the grill for 15 minutes.

Vedas and tea before dinner... the local stall aunty fries them to perfection. Ate 5 so far and counting...

Had leftover lamb from Tuesday so I made a fresh pot of mutton curry, along with some rice. Just got invited to a braai so I'm gonna take it along with me.
