What's for supper?

I'm going to chuck a bunch of ingredients into a pot ... and hope a chicken and lentil soup will come out.

It needs stock. I don't know if I have it.

I am defrosting a tub of something at the moment ... hopefully it's some chicken stock. I can't exactly remember what it is, although I do remember freezing something chickeny ... a while ago.

I'm only on my second double at the moment and the evening is still an embrio.

I've had a long day umpiring school hockey matches ... I deserve my brandy.

From Saturday 16:26 till 20:08 (almost 4 hours) nothing happened in this tread.

Pathetic!
 
Got some lamb neck, shin and some kidney and made a hot pot ....... perfect for this weather.
 
Had some neck chops. Was horrible. Tasted weird and very fatty. Maybe preparation. Wife put it in the arguilla. Usually makes the meat great but not this time. Maybe it was the cut.
 
This week is vegetarian week in our house, so dinner will be vegetable and barley soup and roasted vegetables with couscous
