Had some creamy basil tomato soup with smoky bacon, some ciabatta and salad dressed with olive oil and chilli/garlic dressing.

And a glass of red wine

The salad and ciabatta looks nice. Not so much the soup

I made a ****ing awesome chicken soup tonight.

I bought (a while ago) a bag of chopped vegetables with everything from celery to onions to potatoes to plenty of herbs. Chicken thigh pieces of course also before I added the vegetables.

I boiled everything up and added a little bit of corn starch slurry (only a little bit).

Winning recipe right here!!

Japanese chefs cannot make a better chicken soup than what I made tonight.
