Yeah JHB has a few nice places but way more duds as well.
 
Had Super at Centre Court at the Durban Casino....can't say I was too impressed...

Yeah it was that.

I remember about 2 years ago they had a VERY wide range of food...there was so much to choose from then. Now, there wasn't too much. The ribs were rather disappointing....97% bone, 3% meat. I was shocked there was no fruit salad around :wtf:

I never ate there cos of the buffet. Preferred the one at pavilion

When Suncoast first opened, about 12 years ago, the buffet at Centre Court was very, very good. It went downhill rather quickly though.

Oh, I have not seen that one yet...maybe I will chow there once and compare with the Casino one.

I agree. When I first approached the place...I was shocked it was so empty and there was not a que outside....there would a HUGE que outside the place. The range of food was rather disappointing, especially deserts. I don't think I will eat there again. I felt like I would have had a more satisfying meal at Spur or something.

EDIT: The waiter told me I have a 2 Hour time limit in the restaurant...like WTF??!!! :wtf:

Jaipur Palace? Is that in Durban? How's it like??

I really want to find a restaurant that has top-class seafood, or a mix of everything :)
 
I don't do buffet food unless its a decent carvery restaurant. They tend to re-use food a lot and I get sick every time I eat at one. First class buffets are different but we don't have many of those in SA outside of the nicer hotels.
 
Made burgers last night. Thick cut woolies beef burgers on soft hamburger buns with a bit of English mustard, some lettuce, and a few gherkin slices... Yummy.
 
Going to braai some wors. Will be mainly stuffing my face though with cheeses and breads, so probably won't be too hungry by dinner time.
 
Roast chicken with potatoes and carrots
Neapolitan Ice-cream with chocolate-mint flavour sauce
