That random onion ring is bigger than the ladies steak you ordered. At least they gave you a schit-ton of onion-flavoured grease and frozen chips to make up for it...
I was stuffed after a few ciders and sharing a full portion of buffalo wings. So I didn't even finish my main. Oddly enough the onion rings were crispy and not greasy. Just how they should be done. This was at the atterbury spur near hypermarket.

Braai'd strips of pork in some marinade of some sort with sticky rice made into cakes thats covered with egg yolks and also braai'd and also some type of random isaan style sausage.
R150 for all the food + 5 beers

Nah, I usually order the twister or boxmaster, always good. This time we ordered the family box meal, it was disgusting.

Boerewors fried in a pan

I put tomatoes on toast and I put boerewors on tomatoes.
I then layer cheese on top of everything.

Steak with onion and cheese cakes, with a rice salad.
Was horrible. A spectacular fail on my part tonight. Steak was awful quality. The salad was too acidic, and the cakes were too doughy and the crispy layer too thick, almost like flopped bread underneath...
