Sorry guys. :( Ridiculously good price, isn't it. And their salmon is really nice.

@Picard, a few Pick n Pays in Cape Town do it. Half price from around 19h50, 10 minutes before close. I'm not allowed to say which branch... :D But I did leave three pieces and two pieces of sashimi...

3, 2, 1, GO!

:D

Thanks man, will try my local tomorrow or the next day. Their sushi seems to be of a lot better quality than some of the sushi restaurants around.

If you want basic, you can't go wrong. Always fresh and the pieces are a bit smaller than usual, which is quite nice. The rice is moister/stickier because it sits in refrigeration for a while, which would lead to the rice drying out. Wasabi is hot.

I'm quite sure that I know which branch that is :D

Friend also works around the corner from it and have had a platter or two there before.
And yes - as you say - for the basics, they do a great, fresh job :D

We had diced chicken with cucumber, tomato, little bit of mayo etc etc in a chilli wrap.

Only afterwards did I find out it was chicken in a can......

It was really not bad, I just hate the idea.
