Reminds me of the sin I commited last week.
Partying at a friend's place - all nighter.
We run out of drink and he grabs some of his dad's stash - whiskey and water for the rest of the night.
Ok then - until I went and poured myself one and saw that we were 3/4 way down into a 12yr old Glenfiddich Single Malt.
A piece of me died inside, I cursed them all and sipped on the goodness with some ice only after that. :o

Yeah. When I realized how much whiskey I was polishing off with my friends coming over for braais or just to chill, I decided to start buying the cheaper stuff for daily drinking. Really like Hankey Bannister. Vat 69 also not too bad.
When I go out though I only drink Jameson's

Lol. Yeah I would be upset as well. Was lucky enough to have a bottle of the 24 year old. Might be slightly off with the year..
 
Had a good night at the casino once and decided to treat myself to a blue label. Was really disappointed. Definitely not worth 140 a shot. Would rather have a mcallan at a fraction of the cost any day .
 
For the people who still have to make dinner plans, I found a rack of bbq lamb ribs in PnP for R60/kg.
Was PnP Dooringkloof in Centurion, but will probably be available elsewhere...

I do not need to mention what I'm having for dinner I hope :)
 
Tonight will be chicken casserole with butternut, peppers, carrots, peas and mushrooms. In the oven and the aroma emanating from there is divine. Cannot wait.
 
I don't know.

I've been working in my classroom since this morning cleaning the place and formatting some computers, streaming the the cricket game on my data projector.

I've had a couple of brandies while working in my class and a stack of salami as lunch.

Technically I'm drinking on the job. :D

EDIT: In case you are reading this post not today ... today is Caturday!!!

Home made beer bread made with home brew dark ale, and these egg things that you do in a muffin pan :)
