The stuff you eat reminds me of when I was a kid growing up, having a mom cooking good food for us every night :).

Yeah that's definitely my taste. Un-fancy home cooking but done really well. That's what comes of growing up in Lancashire.

I have taken out the Beef mince again ... I've got my landlady's pet maltese poodle to feed.

I haven't decided what I want to do with the mince yet ... I'm not drunk enough.

Bacon-wrapped meatloaf with mustard mashed potatoes, pepper sauce, and a sundried tomato, stilton, baby spinach, and crispy bacon salad...

I've just watched an episode of Chopped (the episode with the bacon theme).

The judges would lambast you for the over-complication of simple flavours ... except if you kept the portions apart (yet integrated).

Scott Conant seem to be the kind of guy that could criticize you dish ... even though he made it himself.

Simple pasta 'n sauce

Mine would simply be ... beef mince with chopped onions and tomato puree and lots of garlic. There ain't no female colleagues sniffing my breath tomorrow to find a suitable husband.

Chicken wraps.

Smoked chicken from woolies. Lettuce. Tomato. Onions. Danish feta. Honey and mustard dressing and/or sour cream and chives dressing.
