It seems like most of the peeps in this section are native Indians.

Unlikely...:D

All the posts about burgers the last few days had me craving one.

So also made home made burgers but without the buns. Served with avo.

Don't know what went wrong with the shape. They shrunk while cooking and turned out more like massive meatballs. Still delicious.

As the proteins contract at high heat they will start to form balls as they contract in on themselves. Same happens as the fat cooks out.

You need to flatten them, then make a small indentation in the middle and you won't have that problem. Also - turn often on high heat...

Thai vegetable curry tonight, on account of me forgetting to defrost meat.

Was delicious, but was definitely missing some cow or chicken...

Cornish pie, just because it's a public holiday.

Tomorrow night I'll be back at Active Virgin.

Think I need a regular meal plan to create some consistency on the shopping front.

Check the frozen vegetable front, the fresh vegetable front, the pork fridge, the poultry fridge, the diary section, the egg and bread section, the spices section, the toiletries section and the detergent section. That's my regular shopping run.

Oh yes ... and afterwards I stop by PnP Liquor.
