Recipe wise, just a simple curry.
Brown off some lean braising/casserole steak in some oil, add onion and fry off. I then add curry paste and curry powder along with salt, garlic and tomatoes and allow it to fry a little longer. Before it starts to catch I add (my only change from how I was shown originally) liquid beef stock and then allow it to simmer for around an hour. I then add potatoes and let it carry on cooking until they are soft and crumbling.
Then served up with rice and sambals.
But how do we know it's any good?I posted a mutton curry recipe a few months back. Go try that.
