Nice fat

Had to cook on hot grill pan for 4mins, 6mins in oven and left to rest for 8 mins

Was sooo good just salt pepper and very little Jimmy's

Yeah pre-heated to 190

i know few people do it ...and didnt want to end up with burnt steaks out the outside and raw on the inside

so tried the oven bit

cause these steaks were thick

half a finger thick

Nice cook on the inside. Most people would say over cooked but I prefer meat that is not still alive on the inside.

Lucky man, the same halaal meat would have cost double that, if you can find a steak cut that thick to begin with. Usually need to go to a butcher and then get asked the question "why so thick?"

it is halaal ...the one in access park sells only halaal meat so always get the better end of the deal

and hahahah that same butcher will ask you why so pink ..should be well done
