I have to add afterwards coz mommy and my brother can't handle the heat, only real men like me and my pops.

Fish and chips from literally the best place I've found in Cape Town, or at least in the Southern Suburbs - Fish Inn in Diep River (Main Road).

Still have a fridge bare of everything but condiments and a few salad things, and no meat in the freezer... Hmm... Thinking of going the Meze route... Pita, hummus, lentil dip, honey-sesame feta, tzadziki. Will have to make everything but the pita. Maybe some roasted peppers and/or balsamic roasted tomatoes if I manage to stop by the store on the way home. And there are some soy strips and mini beef patties in the freezer that I can toss in the oven to round off the meal.

If you want Durban style curry, why don't you go to House of Curries on 11th Street, Korn! It's literally down the road from you :)

We would but my dad mate(a guy since I knew when I was born) said the curry not lekker :( My dad was mates with the old guys that owned umm I don't know how to spell it.:o

still at work.. leaving soon, but will probably have to settle for canned woolies butternut soup and some woolies toasted crispbread... aah.. the bachelor life :P

Oh no, we have bought from them often and the food is lovely - if Durban curry is what you are after. I especially love the kebab chutney :)

The previous place was called Bahadur.

Wish there was sushi on them. They'd then be sexy as hell. :D
