Bought 2kg of Pork ribs yesterday. basted it in sweet & sour marinade now.

Still looking for other stuff to make with it. Might just eat the ribs with nothing else. Otherwise some roasted potatoes with veggies.

My other half is braaiing tonight :D I love braai's!!! It means I get to make awesome potato dish to go with the meat... Not sure if I want to make a potato bake, potato salad or just make baked potatoes on the coals...

I've got something for you to try... this potato dish was a staple in our home while I was growing up and goes down very well at a braai.

Ingredients:
Potatoes
Tumeric
Salt
Pepper
Chilli Powder
Olive Oil

Method:
Put Potatoes in microwave to cook
Remove potatoes and peel skin (do this under cold running water to prevent burning)
Mix Oil, chilli powder, salt and tumeric in a small bowl.
get a oven casserole dish
cut potatoes into thick slices (or any shape you want really)
dip potatoes in mixture, ensuring that the entire potato is covered.

Cook in oven until potatoes are golden brown and crispy on the outside.

You can throw some herbs into the mix for some extra flavour if you want.. but not too much.
