That stuff is actually nice juiced with pineapple & ginger but I cant eat it :D
And some thinly sliced onion....

As a laaitie we used to eat it as it came out of the pot. My mom would boil up plenty and then bottle it for later use. We would raid the kitchen ...

/many, many moons ago!

I think that's what put me off the stuff, every frigging sunday we got the stuff and I was forced to eat it.

Went for Chinese with my mom at Canal Walk - was nom nom :) If you in Canal Walk area - go to Taiwan City - and try the crispy beef - OMG - so nom nom :D

My turn to cook tonight so I'm making my speciality.

Wors and pink rice.

I call it that because the rice comes out a pinkish colour when done.

Very easy to make if you want to try it.

2 x cups rice
4 x cups hot water
1 x packet Cream of tomato soup
2 to 3 x cups of grated cheddar cheese
1 x large pack of boerewors

Mix the packet of soup and rice in a casserole. Then add the hot water. Not boiling water because the soup will make clots.
Mix well and then add the cheese by spreading it evenly in the casserole.
Put the wors on top of everything. Add extra salt and pepper if you want. I always add a bit of extra pepper.
Cover the casserole with the lid and put it in a pre heated oven at 160 degrees for about 1hour or until the rice is fully cooked and water is gone.

Dish up and enjoy. The cheese and soup fuses with the rice.

Dinner!!!!
