Driving style is the most important IMO, BUT your car makes a big difference too. Taking two equally cautious drivers, one in a car with ABS and other electronic driver aids and one without - the driver with the extra assistance will be safer, both for him/her self and for other road users.

Taking into consideration that many Citi owners buy Citis because they are "faster" than other economy cars - you have a situation with typically young inexperienced windgats driving the fastest car they can afford which also happens to have no safety features or driver aids. This = FAIL.

Na it's definitely one's driving style, although if you drive well and some lunatic crashes into you then you gonna need safety features...

But drop suspension, mags, freeflow are all important features...

Safety features and driving style aside!

Logic will save your ass 90% of the time!

Example: Logic dictates that you yield to cars already in a traffic circle. Not them yield to you!

The most important thing is to understand the basics of driving a car. (like turning a steering wheel, using a handbrake, knowing what a stop sign looks like and knowing that the speed limit is 120 km/h on a highway, whether in a car or a truck.....)

Using the handbrake? What to make those extra tight turns or at a robot?

Damn i never use my handbrake, most important thing is knowing the limitation on your car and not pushing the boundaries too much. There is a speed limit on highways?

And remember, the Citi Golf's 120km/h is faster than a Tazz' 120km/h.

O another thing, never hesitate, either do or do not do it.

If you have doubt in your mind don't do it.
