My contract is expiring. Yipee Yay.

My needs : a 3g USB modem and two seperate data cards each loaded and allowing 3gig and 2 gig per month. Should I get another contract?

Suggestions?

right now its a caugh22 with who to go with...new isp bring new tech with better speeds..contact just tie you down

If you're smoking 5 gigs a month then 3g is not ideal imo. I'd really recommend looking at some of the other technologies available (neotel/adsl/wimax).

I'd go with a neotel package at the moment...but thats just me....and not based on anything solid.

Not too sure why you'd want 2 separate accounts though....but I'm sure you have a good reason.

I'll be moving around the country a lot the next 4-6 months so I need to be mobile with reliable coverage.
I'll be needing min 3 gig up to 5. (split across 2 accounts) I'll know what my exact needs are once I'm working...

You could take 1 5GIG contract with 2 SIM cards (Primary plus a DataSIM) it will save you a few bucks.

Okay Tomorrow is Contract Day for me. I've decided that mygig 5 is just a tad too expensive and I could get away with my MY gig 3- can I get this supplied with 2 sim cards and they throw in an E272 (as I need a split across 2 business accounts)
I need a e272 modem and I need one card with 1 gig and another card with 2 gig under one bill- is that possible anyone?
OR
Do I buy an e272 seperate and just get a NO Contract data bundle for 3 gig over two sims on one debit order. (no contract and can add/subtract from bundle according to needs- and get 2 sim cards and this bundle is debited on month end.) I think its called the 4U account which used to be prepaid only but is now also debit order/free contract but the sales manager at Autopage didn't know about 4U free contract.
Can someone recommend what I should do?

4U + datasim

Got 1gb per month on 4u with vodacomSP + datasim (one user in CT and myself in Pretoria). Works great but do not go out of bundle - you have to manage your usage carefully.

You can't get DataSIM on pre-paid for one. I am not sure about 4U. I think they see that as pre-paid as well, so no DataSIM there either.

Lately I've taken to sending my emails to either the Customer Services Director's office or the MD's office.

No point in staging anything. The Regional Sales manager contacted Head Office and excerpts below...I already have 2 Talk packages...

Unfortunately we don’t have broadband specials that incorporate the 4u contract. We do offer data sim cards for existing Vodacom contracts but that wont help you because it means either a weekender or talk packages which you don’t need…will cost you more in the end. The broadband offers don’t allow you to connect another data sim to those contracts.

Your best bet in lieu of what you needing is then to rather go directly to Vodacom and do that 4U deal that they say they can offer you
