What's the protocol with customer client?

I hope to install ADSL for viewing internet quickly,but I hope I can directly go to Internet other than dial up through comlex software,How can I do it?

Invest in a router that has PPoE built in, it will do it all for you. I personally use the Netgear DG814, it is a 4 port switch with 2 phone ports.

I plug my line into it and my filter hangs off the other port with the rest of my analogue devices plugged in to the filter.

Another product is the Netgear DM602, but it only has 1 ethernet port/USB port. You can only use one of the 2.

D-Link makes a DSL-504G model that is similar to the DG814, i just configured one of these for a client today coz I could not get stock if the Netgear quick enough. It seems okay but further testing is needed.
