I have a home network with a DLink 2750U router.
I am suddenly using a lot of bandwidth and want to determine what's using it.
Is there a software package that I can use?
Any suggestions? I am not that technical!

Thanks in advance

Setting up a proxy server might help you with that.

Do you know if it is one specific PC/device?

Make sure your WIFI is also password protected, that someone isn't connecting without you knowing it.

How do I set up a proxy server?

The one I would try if I had to would be WinGate since you have three devices and it is free for up to 3 devices.

The software should have the instructions but it is fairly simple.

netlimiter..

It will give you a per process view of your current bandwidth usage and speed, for both in and outbound traffic..

This is a good option for Windows PCs but won't help with any other wifi connected devices.

i replied based on the stereotype that most people use windows.. but to be fair then, on the linux side you can use something like nethogs.. as for the smart tv, that makes thing a little more difficult, but the easiest way to rule the tv out is to disconnect it from the network for a day or two and see if the bandwidth usage remains the same or not..
