I really have to know why they have a hard on for allowing us these so called "extras" between 12am and 5am, sure for the 5 people in the country that will actually use it, it's just dandy but for millions of others they might as well take a crap on our doorstep and call that a little extra and expect us to happy about it. VC has to be the most delusional company in SA, really the mind boggles. Cell C for the absolute win.

Yeah, gone are the days that you felt proud to be a Vodacom subscriber & had the best signal & data speeds.

Nowadays you know, and everybody else knows, that if they see a Vodacom-SA carrier logo on your phone, you're getting screwed pretty epically.

Well they do have all these night owl specials 12am to 5am airtime, bundles etc doesn't seem that far off, I wouldn't be surprised if they really did it, I can see them giving an hour maybe between 3am-4am? It's really not impossible with them, I know people who work for webafrica on this site so the story did make a little sense, I also have loads of friends who work at M-web and I have worked there myself for a while. So that could give me insider information on them.Your supposed to get the information on specials etc like at least a week before release if your an employee.

I know what Vodacom is planning, I have a guy on the inside..... he's pretty high up.

They are launching a new product, called "Vodacom Happy Half Hour" or something - you get to download as much as you want at a speed throttled to 512kbps on local only shaped http websites, between 3:30 and 4:30 am on tuesdays.

I also know a guy in the Advertising industry, that said it is going to be called vodacom's Tripple-H special, so who knows what it's going to be called?

He also told me about another product that is going to compete with Heita head on - they are launching the vodacom Super Advanced Bundles soon, where you pay R589 for a Gig, and get up to 21Mbps speeds if your modem supports it.

Really? This is so ridiculous!!! Vodacom can give me 100GB of free data to use after 12am, and I still won't use it. I just don't use my 3G at those times! I'm on a 2.5GB bundle and I did not even use my Nightowl free GB at all this past month. It just went to waste.

Vodacom just need to lower their prices and be done with it.

Well since the current CellC prices are "introductory"......I would like to see how they favour when that "introductory" period is over. I bet they will still be cheaper than everyone else.
