Woody said:Kilps just can't face the fact that Mac is bad and Intel is good
His arguments belong in a two year old thread.thnks for digging up a 2 yr old thread.![]()
Okay I'm seeing alot of mac support from 3 lonley peoplelmao......first off i will tell you why mac's are to big for their pants. they are bragging about osx being all this and that well take a look at vista baby all osx is is xp with visual upgrades and now microsoft has that, then game support mac games are very limited and most dont run as well as on a pc, then you take into consideration how hard it is to get software or hardware for a mac it's insane, and then the prices of not only the computers but then the software and hardware thats another draw back, and i see all this talk about if you had money then why not get one well the only way you achieve money in the bank is by not spending it on rediculose stuff (ie.Mac's).And now lets talk about the real subject apple has realized that there processors are out of date and thats why they are converting over to Intel's processors now i am not a huge Intel fan as i have always run AMD processors but i think it was a verry smart move for apple. as here is the real kicker for all the mac lovers out there they are slowly starting to impliment their plan to convert over to regular pc components as apple realizes that they are making no progress in the personal computer realm. i am not going to argue that mac's are not good for design and mutimedia aplicatons as they are now on the other hand they are not good computers for main stream america.........

You typed that whole mess and still managed to not make a single valid point. Poor form.

Aaah - I just read the whole thread and cannot fathom for the life of me why this argument even went 5 pages... Kids arguing about 'my dad is better than yours' ... I would not even bother with this any further.
I wonder - does/would AutoCAD work under parallels? As soon as you can install AutoCAD on a Mac, Apple will get much more customers. And no, I don't want to use 'Bootcamp' - don't want to boot between OSes the whole time - will drive me completely nuts.
Also, game support is not the Mac OS's strongest point. Yes, you can make nice piccies with iPhoto, nice tunes with iTunes, but it just is not a complete all-in-one like a pc.
EDIT - a quick search of Parallels forum would lead me to conclude AutoCAD runs under parallels.
