What's wrong with it?

It's from Cayenne @ Kyalami. They're the biggest Honda Motorcycle dealer in the country, so I doubt it would be a red flag. It's a 2011 model with 14 000 km on the clock. R30 000 seems about right, maybe undervalued as a new CBR250R goes for roughly R48 000 for the 2014 model and was R44 000 for the 2013 model.

It may have cosmetic damage on it, hence the reason for the slightly lower than expected price.

Edit: Here is a 2013 model from the same dealer, 667 km on the clock and the price is just shy of R40 000.

2013 Honda CBR250R @ R39 000, 667km on the clock.

Edit 2: Another word on Cayenne, they've been known to use the year of first registration as the year model for the bike. Just be wary of this if you're looking at them.

Have dealt with them before, no real concerns. Go have a look at the bike and decide

I know absolutely 0 about bikes.

Might decide to get one soon though as new job is in the middle of traffic central. This was a potential option as well as the NC700. Obviously much more expensive though.

I would suggest going with the NC700, very good bike for a learner, plus comes with a very useful storage compartment.

We use one here at work for deliveries.

Downside is we had it serviced at 24000km , cost R3800
