i did level 55 to 56 in just over 2 hours. Whats your fastest level ? Keeping in mind difficulty :-)

I followed Jaimes Guides @ wowpro.com ( awesome leveling guide if u didnt know em)
At many points you have so many completes and hand em all at once u get some nice chunky hand-ins :)

My fastest was my Warlock in something like 5days 2 hours :P

If you want to power level a character though.... just kill **** and dont stop to loot, or do any professions etc... having a friend healing/helping and u can probably get to 70 in 2 or 3 days.

58 - 60 is always the quickest of the higher lvl's....

Outlands XP at pre-tbc lvl's = IMBA !

0 - 60 hunter in 5 days played time. I did fart @rse around a bit with skills, loot but had m8's help me along (Tks Pit, Raizors, Fes).

Cube3 has it knuckled down imo, don't stop to loot and having a m8 helps too.

dunno about fastest but lvl 69-70 was quiet painfull, yay got 10 lvls to look forward to when patch comes out.

We talking rested?

43-44 1h30min :p had just started Feralas and grinded the hell out of the zone :)

While out on the Balcony now I was thinking.

At normal lvl'ng pace, meaning no hardcore grinding and power leveling.... Just quests and the odd dungeon here and there one should be able to get to 70 in 7 days played time.

Now:

If one could have 2 people leveling one char in 12 hour shifts one can get a char from 1 - 70 in a week

I think I need to put in leave once my youngest brother moves in with us and we'll try it :D

1-2 was probably everyone's fastest :p

Mine is 1-70, 14 days played

The record atm is still held by Athene;
1-60: 1 day, 2 hours and 50 minutes
60-70: 16 hours and 49 minutes
1-70: 1 day, 19 hours and 39 minutes

And he does it via questing, because its been proven that solo grinding is slower.

The fastest way, however, is to get a group of 5 and do instance grinding. But you'll need a group specialised in AOE and this method slows down after 60+.

1-70 8 days as a Rogue.
1-70 13 days as a Shaman
1-70 12 Days as a Priest

All were before the 2.4 Leveling Increase.

What leveling increase?

Anyway.... Played time is about 5 days now. And no wasn't rested grinding. I play solo most of the time (only had to have help in ZF the other day cause I wanted to get the ring and the carrot on the stick for my mount that I'll get once the new patch is out)

I'm a druid so I pop out of DPS mode, Barkskin, Rejuv, Regrowth, Re buff if I need to and back into DPS mode :P

Im so good I kick my own ass sometimes :)

I haven't really levelled since the XP buff thing a while back. For me one of the fastest dings (or rather, it fely like it) was 68-70 with my druid. I just tanked instances back to back over a weekend siphoning up lewts and rep and xp.

After 2.4 the ammount of exp required to reach the next level were decreased by 30% (if I remember correctly?) and the ammount of exp you gain from completing quests were increased.

My fastest levels were ofc from 1-10 :p
50-54 on mage were fast as well think it took a combined 3 hours to do those 4 levels. AOE grinding in DM is just cheesy if you know how to do it, about ~150k-250k exp per hour non rested! They have nerved the leveling spot a bit by reducing the exp gained from the plants, and you cannot reset the instance that fast anymore :(

Warrior I went to tank Scholomance (while it were still 10 man!) at the start of level 59 and exited an hour later at level 60 :D

Heh, I dinged 60 on my pre-BC Rogue in Strat too. That instance will always be one of my favourites of all time as a result.
I can't wait to help Arthas burn it to the ground.

Thats the reason why my shammy was so slow. I flew through pre-TBC content, but leveled from 60-70 primarily through instances (it was hard to find groups at that time).

When I dinged 70, 1/2 Terokkar and all of Nagrand, Blade's Edge, Netherstorm and SMV were all untouched. :)

Yeah I know about Athene. I always recommend questing too, you get a ton of xp.

Have a mage in the area to make portals for you when needed, have a lock summon you to distant places, and make the local in your quest/grind area your HS location. Die when its faster to res at the graveyard and hand in quests. Travel takes up a lot of time in WOW... the lvl 30 mount will improve with that too.
