As a Christian - it's the whole week that is dedicated to the core of Christianity - which I have been appreciating more as I have been getting older (i.e. higher sense of awareness)
From a secular perspective - for sure the extra holidays, it's like a mini-break after the Christmas break - and then for sure all the traditional food we enjoy, having heritage from multiple nations.
A waste of days which could be used for productivity. Interestingly, it is the poor who need more productivity to improve their financial position who are the most keen on the days off and wasted.....but maybe that is exactly why they remain poor and others who work 7 days a week year round flourish.
