Curious what the max LTE-A speeds possible in SA currently( Fixed or Mobile)

ISP: Rain (Fixed)

Was never more than 15Mbps, usually 5-8Mbps DL.

I've just cancelled my Telkom account this week because of oversubscription.
Works fine most of the day then crawls at 5pm... It goes as low as 0.35Mbps.

That is one of the biggest downsides of LTE/A...inconsistent speeds due to over subscription and tower bandwidth.

Rain was actually blasting in Westville, got 63 Down and 21 up. Sadly at home its lower and other places its a standstill 3mbps

Mtn - at work: Highest ive seen was over 120mbps 30odd down
MTN at home: never really tested.. but maybe 30ish not sure about down


Telkom: Home LTE: never seen more than 25mbps up and about 3down.
Funny this is.. i took my router to munster on KZN coast.. and i was hitting 60odd with like 25 down.. was a beautiful weekend....
