Whats your thoughts on this?

Hi guys. Im busy with the front page of a website. Whats your thoughts on the design? The top pic will be a slider (fade) of peoples faces - about 10 that will change after every 2secs.

It's not a content site really is it? It's more like a billboard...for that it is 100%.

thanks guys.... yes thats just the first page that links to the BLOG, STORE and FACEBOOK pages. The top "billboard" will be a slider. The blog is Wordpress while the store is Magento.

the idea with the top banner is the changing faces because the whole theme is about DIVERSITY..... a website for a book called 100 lessons in diversity.

In my opinion, flashing a rainbow of faces one after the other says nothing about diversity - showing a rainbow of faces together might....

So there is one product, the book? And you are going to do a magento install to load one product?

- give the top block the same rounded corners (with the same radius) as the bottom block.
- the top block is wider than the bottom block by 2px.

Yes ive installed Magento already - there will be alot more products as well later. Also the fact that with magento you can have so many different designs per category and product - alot more flexible. heres the blog and store to see what i mean - 100lessonsindiversity.co.za/blog

the design of the book and website has tons of faces, so what i want to achieve is the faces that flash after each other are the ones on the cover of the book as well. Maybe even have a small quote from each face / person .. etc etc etc - what ye think?
