Whatsapp seems to be down. The message is delivered to the server, but then that is it.

Been up and down for me since 16:30.

The person who you're sending a msg to could have his/her phone off. That's normally the case when only one check mark appears.

That is not the case currently as we are able to communicate with a sms.

Mine's been down since 2:30 but my BIS is down too. I'm on MTN. BTW just rebooted my BB and whatsapp needs an update. I'll let you know if it works - 10min.
