Whatsapp For Business

Hi Members

I want to change my WhatsApp business number from a mobile number to a landline number.
I enter the required information and since I cannot receive the OTP via SMS I opt for the Call me option.
After doing this I don't receive any calls, I have checked on our IVR and PABX system and can't see any call coming through to the landline number so I am unable to receive the OTP pin.

Please can someone advise what could possibly be the issue here?

I've never tried the "Call me" option to verify so I'm not sure how well that works in SA. I assume you are able to receive calls and don't have an automated answering service on the line where people calling in are required to press a number to make a menu selection? Not sure how well it works, but if you do have a switchboard on the number you're trying to use for the whatsapp business, have you tried temporarily diverting the calls to a cellphone number to see if it will push it through so you can answer it just to complete the change over?

Hi WolfByte, yes I tried diverting calls but still no luck. I checked on our PABX and cant even see a call coming through.
