Whatsapp for business

Which app can a use like IM social manager for whatsapp

There are many options - you'll have to Google and see what appeals to whatever you have in mind. Budget might be an issue too.

I've heard great things about Twist, so maybe give them a try. There is a free tier, although the $5/user per month seems more than reasonable if this is a critical aspect of your business workflow.

Whatsapp.

Come on man. WhatsApp is not a professional means of communicating, and is trash for business activities. Something like the service I mentioned above is more like what professional people use.

Slack is a much more better option and used for business - infact Slack is affectionately known as the whatsapp for business.

Microsoft teams if you have Office365,
Slack if you have budget,
RocketChat or Mattermost if you are keen to self host,
Telegram if all else fails.

Telegram is not a bad option due to the bot support and the desktop client not requiring a mobile connection like Whatsapp. Obvious security concerns with not having end to end encryption.

Discord is another one to look at though it doesn't serve business.

Telegram encrypts all communications. The same technology that encrypts secret chats with E2E (so, E2E is available btw) is responsible for the connection between users and Telegram servers. The only difference is that regular messages go to a Telegram server and then the recipient rather than directly to the recipient.

Did they finally change it? I remember Telegram to only encrypt secret chats...

I looked it up a long time ago and all chats were encrypted even then. It's mostly misinformation from tech sites that spreads the myth of unencrypted Telegram chats.

I think you're incorrect there. I can't find anything on their website that states normal chats and group chats use e2e, only secret chats.

Not trying to pick a which-im-to-use fight, I'm genuinely interested to know.

I specifically said that not all chats are E2E though. As you posted above, the same encryption technology is used, but with a server in between rather than directly between users.

Without Telegram receiving messages in the middle there's obviously no way to store everything in the cloud and allow messages to be received on any untethered device.

Yep, true. I'm curious as to how Signal's apparent e2e works with their desktop extensions.

No different to WhatsApp - has to sync constantly with your phone as the messages only exist there.

Basically everything but Telegram is a pain in the ass once you're used to Telegram.
