Anyone using Whatsapp Plus. Used to be on XDA, not sure if this is the correct link: http://www.whatsapp-plus.net/download.php LINK MAY BE MALICIOUS

Basically adds some non-official features, like hiding online, last online status, etc. Anyone know if above is safe and works.

Rather download here, http://www.droiddoc.com/download-whatsapp-plus-4-65-version-apk/ and update within the app to the latest version.

I don't use it anymore. The XDA community supported WA+ until it received a DMCA copyright removal request, strange though is that according to the deleted thread back in the day it seemed that the WhatsApp team supported the custom initiative, not so then.

To answer your question… The ones which goes around today should be checked.

Been using WA+ for months now and it's awesome. Has tons of layout and feature mods. Especially useful for replacing that annoying 'record' button on the bottom right with the old 'send' button.

The 'web download' option in the app leads to whatsapp-plus.net so I would trust it.

Hiding online status mod is only possible by purchasing the Plus Donation app he put on the play store though, but there is another simple way of hiding your status.

Updates are pushed directly so I wouldn't worry about the source.

By turning off your connection before you go into WA.

It's always blue but you can change it in 'Other Mods'
