Whatsapp Service Extended Query

Howzit guys

I have a HTC Aria. Was brought in The States and came here and got it unlocked. All working 100% I've been using Whatsapp for a long time now. This morning I woke up and saw a notification saying,
"Whatsapp Service Extended New Date: 12 Nov 2012"

Now that's great, I have a longer subscription, but the only problem now is everytime someone sends me a message, the same notification pops up:
"Whatsapp Service Extended New Date: 12 Nov 2012"
And the phone does not vibrate.

It's quite annoying cause if my phones I silent then I don't know that I've received a message.

Anyone else got this problem?

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling? May help, personally never had that but im on paid edition already, have been for a few months. Have heard about the service extensions, but not heard of any problems caused by it.
