WhatsApp support terrible for simple query

Hi, I tried to find out if Afrihost supports another FNO in an area with Zoom fiber on WhatsApp for a family member.

Despite the nature of WhatsApp showing previous messages I kept on having to re-explain things to people and kept on getting asked for account information despite it not being an account query.

Is there anyone here who can assist me via DM with confirming if Afrihost supports another FNO in my relatives' area?

Like a lot of companies that get too big it feels like their support is so bogged down by script & procedure that they become borderline useless at actually solving anything. Wish their whatsapp support was on the same level as the forum reps.

Thanks. I checked and see Zoom is the only FNO.

If Zoom doesn't rethink things my relatives will probably cancel since their bill will more than double if the reported changes go through.

WhatsApp on your app and the one that is used by businesses for multi user chats are not the same. Generally they only see the current chat that you just started and not your entire chat history. I have chatted via WhatsApp with the bank and they said the same thing, they get routed a new chat and they assist from there.

That makes sense from their side but no sense from my side. They should be able to retrieve previous chats.

The service is currently fine but Mybroadband has reported they are likely to increase prices drastically soon. They then released another article that Zoom may be in trouble.

Yes, they are scrapping the low tier packages and forcing customers to higher tiers at almost double what they currently pay.
