I got the Lumia 520 and i cant to get whatsapp on my phone. I have setup the account they asked me, and when i try to get the app, it says i must first create the My Family account. That is also been done. Any advise for me

do you by chance know what version of operating system is on the Lumia 520? I know there is a version of windows Mobile that is not compatible with Whatsapp

It looks like i have Version 1.7.0.173. I got my phone last week. I have made a Nokia account. I did sign on the Windowsphone.com and went in to my family where i did set it up. Everytime i try to download the app, it says i first must create a My family account and add the person.

My family account is used to limit access to store apps and purchases, you don't need it if you're the only one using a Windows Phone device.

Login to the website and have a look if you can disable it.

i have came right. You need to log in to www.live.com and change your Date and birth. Mine said i was born on 2013 june 30. So i changed it, and now i can download
