Just had a shot of WheatGrass juice at my gym... Stuff is supposed to packed with good stuff :D I wanna but some to make at home coz it's quite pricey at R12.95 a shot :P

Found this site: http://www.healthmakers.co.za/wheatgrass_kit.htm

Anyone know where I can find a good quality juicer for R500.

The one on the site is R3500 :( that seems a bit much :)

yummy....

prefer the peanut butter and weigh ones they make :D droool....

Peanut butter? Can that even be approximately healthy? :)

You must be kidding ... ;)

PeanutButter is extremely healthy, high in protein and low in saturated fat... As with all things if you have too much it's not so good anymore :)

Kauai sells great smoothies! Especially the peanutbutter, banana and weigh ones

*shudder*

I went through a wheatgrass phase when I was working in a smoothie bar. Now if I even smell it I feel ill. Although my friend credits it with helping his receding hairline.

I guess if it is a spoon or two, it's OK, but AFAIK peanut butter really is very fattening!

Lawn or spinach... Hmmmm.... rather not I say ;) Lawn doesn't have half the nutrients of Wheat Grass and spinach is high in sodium (I'm not looking to get high blood pressure) :P

I saw a Kenwood juicer 350W at Game for ~R400. Though, we bought the Russells and Hobs one for R800 which is a 700W.

Edit: Looking at the site now, I see you need a masticating juicer. Not sure if the centrifugal juicers will work.
