Wheel PCD change.

Yep...reps in 114pcd at Autostyle for Audi me finks...yes I did start the thread but it somehow skewed towards wheels and did not focus on the pcd change...this one as you should have noticed by now...is only for ze pcd change...eish!
 
Yes called 'em yesterday say they have 5x112 and organise 5x114 but no 5x98???WHY?
 
Ok...Autostyle can get ze 114...spoke to dude at The Wheelshop said its easier to do PCD change in 114 than in 112...Don't ask me how they came to this...but they say its R1200 and it takes 3 days. What they do is just get a spacer and change the wheels PCD on the spacer which is now the PCD of the wheel, and then convert the other holes on the spacer to 5x98...but the wheel will now stand out a lillabit...filling the arches I suppose!

Called MST, they say me should get the 5x112 as there is no difference in difficulty when converting...and plus Autostyle has 12 sets of 5x112 available...the 5x114 they will have to "organise" whatever that means!

MST does conversion @ R1600, also takes 3 days? Now if the process is the same...me obviously go wiff The Wheelshop...

Tyres I'm looking at 1k a tyre...and my budget was only 6k!
So I'll be sitting miff rims in my house and no tyres till next month!

Did any of them explain how they intend to do the PCD change?
 
Yep i know...have you asked 'em for the "organise" BBS CH reps??? Whatever that means.

Do a PCD change...I'm seriously on par with doing the PCD change dude!

OMG!!! Look at the BBS rep...WOAH! But me don't think a 19 will look good on a 147...joh!

the Galardo rep should be in 18 man! ****E, these ous NEVER have what I'm looking for...lol even gave me 1000's off the 147 MS Design bodykit...it doesnt sell, since I'm the only 147 driver that actually wants to personalise me car...others spending money fixing it LOL

joh, digging up old cows here - did you ever do the PCD change?

Thinking of doing the same on my 350
 
You CAN do the change but there is alotta factors you need to consider...

offset
centre bore
pcd...

but Hi Tec mag repairs CAN do it but at a moerse cost hey.
Or alternatively read in SNS and see who else does PCD changes...lotta ppls do it, but its gota be done right.

And no...I didn't do it, bought other wheels that fit!
