ok so my car has 225 size tyres on... now manufacturer spec says it should run on 215's.
with the bigger tyre's ( i know only slightly) how much will my performance be effected... like will it make 0-100 reasonably slower..

and does they extra "10" hold it that much better to the road ?

225 is the tyre width that's on the road so I wont make any difference at all. And yes, it would make road holding marginally better due to the extra rubber on the surface.
