rings true doesn't it?

I am all for jumping ship, but I say why leave this country for issues elsewhere if you love SA lets all stay and fight. If that doesn't work though I always have my British Passport

I want to add to this by saying that, in actual fact, "South Africa's indifference is our own worst enemy", I fully include myself in this category, as I'm happy to bitch about it online, but not get out into the streets and protest. In which other country in the world would citizens allow this to happen? How many of us have got up and offered our time to campaign for opposition parties, or even simply donating funds? I leave that up to others to do...

It seems we don't really care too much.

The Germans made their mistake by voting for someone who spoke very well and made promises, they voted for him even though Hitler committed treason when he unsuccessfully tried to overthrow the then government. Hitler came into power, he eventually made millions suffer and many other dead. Spain and Italy also made mistakes by putting into power Fascists. My point is that South Africans who are supporting Zuma will eventually learn from their mistakes to not vote for someone like him in future if Zuma turns SA into a banana republic. Countries are allowed to make mistakes. And I think people deserve the government they vote for and support, that's why I believe Zimbabweans who supported Mugabe deserved what they got and are still getting. If you are suggesting that uneducated people shouldn't vote because they are uneducated then you are suggesting that Apartheid should be brought back.

I agree with everything you said 95% what I disagree with is that the minority that new what was coming and voted away from the Banana republic leaders is forced to suffer economic crisis, crime waves, corruption, etc. due to the incompetence and lack of education from the Majority. So yes everyone deserves a vote after all this is a free country, but no I wont be sitting down when the Banana republicans is put into power.

Well if you are 100% certain that SA will become a banana republic then you have the financial needs and choice to get out of the soon to be banana republic to a first world country.
