When do you use Speedtest.net?

I find I use it when I have a suspicion that my line speed is not what it should be. And which most times turn out to be the case. Never when I think the line is perfect.

I wonder how many other people are helping to bring down the average speed of their ISP?

Me too...

Except when I upgrade someday, then I'll probably go to speedtest.net quite a few times a day until the novelty wears off. That's what I do when my ADSL cuts out and I have to use my cellphone as a modem.

Me too, usually visit the site after I suspect slow speeds, so guess that's a +1.

Same here, I basically use it confirm my suspicions of a slow line.

First to a local site then international to see if Seacom is acting up again
