When is the new shape 1 series being released?

Much better than the old one but still not convinced for that kind of $.

Nobody can (with a straight face) tell me that that looks good. It looks like it should be used to transport granny's walker. Something tells me that there was a major lack of communication between marketing and "design."
 
Yeah, a hot hatch is supposed to be aggressively sexy, or sexily aggressive. That just looks frumpy.

Then again I think that BMW's designers have lost the plot a bit. The 3 series also looks like a Korean car.
 
They succeeded in ruining the rear even more than the old ... Didn't think it was possible :/
