When is too far, far enough for Malema?

I am saying stop trying to get people who are here for discussion banned. And no, I don't know if hyperchamp is this rooster you clearly have a thing for or not. None of us can know unless, it's not like we have fixed IPs here.

When is a discussion in this section ever on topic? 9/10 threads in here have veered so far off topic that no one even knows what the OP is about.

And who are you to start commanding other members? If you have a problem with me kindly report it to the mods and they will take appropriate action.

As for the rooster, he has a distinct writing style and many other has picked this up and I feel strongly that once you are banned you should stay banned.

And the next logical step is Mbalula for ANC president. That would open the door for more YL members to get into ministries and other top ANC positions. They will take over the ANC the same way they don't want the communists & socialists to take it over. Meaning done right, a stint as YL president will lead directly to a minister position & then SA's president.

Yep, I think that is their scary plot! As you point out, it makes sense why they are fighting for young blood in the top ANC ranks. But I think Cosatu and SACP have more power to sway the voting in 2012 and will not support Phosa, Mbalula and Malema.

Zuma is probably facing a challenge to choose sides. He is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't.

They have already said earlier in the year that they'd like to see YL members in ministerial positions. It's a toss up, going with the incompetent YL is a recipe for a certain African stereotype & the commies & socialists are making ominous noises about an unsustainable system of higher salaries & unfavourable labour conditions. We're doomed either way. It's probably the ANC's fault allowing the YL to get this powerful. The likes of Phosa & other nationalists don't seem to mind that looting will get even more rampant under a YL controlled ANC.

At least corruption would be checked under COSATU & the SACP (I think). Zuma socialist bridges are burnt and at the bottom of the river maybe that's why he's making you his family will be billionaires by the end of his term. And those who backed him during his dark days are being very handsomely rewarded right about now.

I agree that it seems Zuma is planning an exit strategy and life after ANC. Life is good for the likes of Mzi Khumalo, Ngonyama, Macozoma, Ngcuka etc even though they lost political power.

The lesser evil to me is COSATU and SACP because they are answerable to their constituents. Also, had Zuma and ANC not allowed Malema to attack Zuma, Mantashe, Blade and Vavi, this strike would have been less damaging if not avoided. There would be less noise from COSATU/SACP on issues such as unsustainable system of higher salaries & unfavourable labour conditions etc.

The call for nationalization by ANCYL is the only means of gathering support for Malema. The masses have seen Black elites getting rich from mining BEE deals. So, its easy for them to believe mining will empower the nation and therefore support ANCYL's call.
