When self installing , do you have to modify endpoints of cable?

For single view setup , you'd have to buy RG6 coax cable.
Would you need to modify both its ends to fit F-type connectors?
Would you need cable stripper for that?
So it's cable , connectors and cable strippers, I've searched online and found some sites but can you recommend other stores, thanks.

Yes, if you buy cable from Space TV you have to make up the ends yourself. Very simple, just use a pair of scissors
You can buy fully made up cables but they obviously come in set lengths and are more pricey

I am looking for a how to install a connector on a 7/8" coax cable.
the connectors name is 7/16 SIMFIX FEMALE 7/8 in IP68 EC5-50.

There is a special stripper for sat cable AFAIK.

Those are not twist-ons in the link.

Compression and Hex crimp type F-connectors are the best way, but not the easiest or cheapest. A proper waterproof compression F-connector, costs about 5 times more than the twist-on type... and then you still need to by the compression tool.

The normal twist-on is just fine for basic domestic installations.

Do cable strippers work better than using knife?(I assume they do)
Should there be metallic shield folded backwards over plastic jacket or not?
Also, when twisting the f-type connector , how is it fixed to the cable , via tape?
Does the f-type connector have a screw on mechanism or would you have to turn the lnb on it to screw on?
Will twist on connectors last in rain , after being covered with the amalgamated tape?
